Emergency first aid at work training course

At Mayfair Fire and Security, we strongly believe in giving our staff every opportunity to gain skills that enhance the workplace. We recently had our directors and staff members take part in a one-day Emergency First Aid at work course.

All businesses must have First Aiders. We wanted to ensure that as many of our staff as possible were confident and capable of responding immediately to incidents, injuries, and illnesses. First Aid knowledge can save lives and prevent minor injuries from becoming major ones.

First Aid Trainer, Thomas, shows the team how to perform CPR.
John Performing CPR on the adult dummy.
Angie performing CPR on the child dummy.

What did we cover?

We developed the skills and confidence to help someone who is:

  • unresponsive and not breathing, including how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
